"Coming Out" was founded in Saint Petersburg and works since 2008 to ensure and promote equality of rights for LGBT-community. We developed 10 programmes aimed at fostering a positive image and changing public perception of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender people.

QueerFest is a very special event for all of us and it brings together the overall direction of all other projects we run. The event is open and accessible to all, everyone who wants to speak up for LGBT-equality and learn more about it is welcome and can get involved. Being a part of QueerFest is a possibility to take a stand for equality.

We truly believe that QueerFest can make a positive change in how LGBT-community is perceived and treated. Don't stay indifferent and join us at the Festival, don't be afraid to overcome your fears and stereotypes.
